Having worked with some of the biggest companies in the industry, such as New York Sports Clubs and Equinox fitness, he realizes his purpose in life is to help others, help them selves. John attended Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY and studied Sports Medicine with a concentration in Athletic Training in hopes of working with the pros one day. John likes to incorporate the “old school” basics while keeping your heart rate up. He also loves to keep the body guessing by throwing in random core movements just to shock the body. He is also a certified Boxing Instructor, and feels this is definitely one of the most effective methods to getting that killer body. Being a certified massage therapist, he has learned the body in even more depth and believes in the physical aspect of fitness as much as the mental aspect. John is also educated in Russian Kettle Bell Training from the leading company in the country, Kettle Bell Concepts Corp. He believes “Fitness is very simple, you just have to be willing to learn, listen and dedicate yourself. Fitness is a Journey for life, not a destination to reach”
Tonya B. AAAI-CPT, NASM certified personal trainer, Former Military Soldier Tonya learned the importance of health and fitness after seeing the negative effects food had in her southern culture. She took that lesson and applied it to her life at twelve years old. It was this type of discipline that attracted her to the Army. It was in the military where she realized that challenging her body through exercise not only changed her outward appearance but her outlook on life as well. Her passion for health and fitness grew stronger in the military. Therefore, after serving her country, she felt compelled to serve her community. She obtained her personal training certification and has been training for the past six years. Tonya’s training style is to constantly change the exercise through various movements within the individual’s limits. This method not only keeps boredom at bay, but it ensures the greatest change one can make. It strengthens the body but the mind and spirit as well.

Justin C. M.A. in Physical Education (Montclair State University), B.S. in Nutrition (University Of Delaware), NSCA Certified Personal Trainer Justin has been in the fitness industry for 10+ years working with various clients from corporate executives who are on the constant run to active retirees looking to maintain their fitness levels. His education is an undergraduate degree in nutrition and a graduate degree in exercise physiology. He believes, ”In order to be successful in losing weight, toning up, increasing lean muscle mass, and improving cardiovascular endurance, the right combination of proper nutrition and exercise is critical. You need both elements working together to help increase or improve the results you will receive from fitness training.” He has experience in working with people who are looking to train for a specific sport, or individuals who have certain medical conditions that need physical exercise as part of their lives. I do like keeping the workout upbeat where one would find that working their heart muscle is just as important as working any other muscle in their body.
